from the creative nothing // To the creative nothing (2022)

This is a two-part series about two opposite yet similar ways through which the self develops. The first half depicts creating one’s Self from the creative nothing, where one can be whomever they choose without limits, a void of self from which everything is born. The second half shows the process of breaking out from a rigidly defined, constrictive, pre-established self into the creative nothing.

Both halves are defined by the process of moving outwards from a point, but for the first, the origin point is the creative nothing going towards a self, while in the second, the origin point is a concrete self, and the destination is the creative nothing.
